The National Police Service Commission joined H.E. President William Ruto and Kenyans in commemorating 16 years of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, marking a significant milestone in the country’s constitutional journey.
The commemoration provided an opportunity to reflect on Kenya’s progress in advancing constitutionalism, good governance, the rule of law and the protection of constitutional rights.
The NPSC delegation comprised Chairperson Dr. Amani Yuda Komora, Vice Chairperson Prof. Collette A. Suda, PhD, CBS, EBS, Commissioners Angeline Siparo, Edwin Cheluget, Benjamin Imai and Peris Muthoni Kimani, MBS, OGW, and Chief Executive Officer Peter Leley.
As a Constitutional Commission established under Article 246 of the Constitution of Kenya, NPSC remains committed to upholding the Constitution and delivering on its mandate in promoting professionalism, accountability and effective policing in Kenya.
The Commission continues to contribute to national efforts aimed at strengthening constitutional governance and ensuring that the principles and values of the Constitution remain central to the delivery of public service.
